The Mysterious Benedict Society is well written, it's a great story with charming characters and I love it. The reason I chose it for the Free to Be Me blog hop is that the central characters all see the world differently than the rest of the world and felt fairly left out before they found each other, which is something I identify with. Also until recently I was very much like Sticky: the weirdly knowledgeable, nervous kid. But recently I've noticed more of the Constance and Kate Weatherall and Reynie coming out in me - the Reynie as I start doing stuff like having my own book review website and talking more, the Great Kate Weather Machine as I pluck up the courage to wear my fancy dresses whenever I jolly well feel like it and say things the way I see them rather than the way others see them, and the Constance as I find that I can roll my eyes with the best of them and it's actually quite fun.
I love The Mysterious Benedict Society.
